Before you can schedule a change you must set up the promotion, put in the required fields and discount amounts, whether that’s a product discount (straight store sale) or a checkout offer (a discount applied at checkout)
When you create it untick the active box, this will allow us to schedule a change to turn it on

Now the promotion is created, click edit on the promotion screen and tick the active box, you should now see a yellow Schedule change button appear, this will make any change you make to happen at a later time, if you press the green save button the change will happen immediately.
When you press the schedule changes button a calendar will appear where you can set the time and date you want the promotion to be active from.


As the promotion is still not active until the date set in the previous step, setting an turn off date requires another change to be made as the active box is unticked.
We recommend adding a full stop into the description box, this will register a change, press schedule change and set the date you want the promotion to turn off.
This page will now also show that there are existing changed scheduled.
